MXD Development Strategists was engaged by Edmonton International Airport to assess the airport’s Commercial Land Development Opportunities. The project focused on 300 acres of airport land adjacent to a major Provincial highway at the entrance to the airport with an objective of creating a comprehensive Development Implementation and Marketing Strategy that leverages EIA’s position as an Economic Gateway to Canada’s most robust economic region.
MXD’s Optimal Commercial Development Program creates a Regional Destination designed to foster Real Estate Value. Building upon this foundation, MXD performed Financial Analysis and created the Airport City Commercial Development Plan in conjunction with Stantec to specifically allocate the Optimal Development Program across the site and define all engineering details. Major anchor projects have recently been announced, including Ivanhoe-Cambridge’s 415,000 sqft Outlet Collection at EIA designer outlet mall and the 215,000 sqft Roseneau Transport rapid-cycle logistics facility.
