The event is an opportunity to share the planning strategy that MXD has been working on with collaboration from the region’s stakeholders, and the Greater Gaston Development Corporation. The planning strategy promotes a future for Gaston that will embrace mixed-use development, support for regional transit and transit-oriented development, preserving employment lands, and lays the foundation for creating diversified economic development opportunities.
