MXD was retained to perform a comprehensive Real Estate Market Study and Financial Analysis for a mixed-use redevelopment site at Candlestick Point in San Francisco. MXD’s Financial Analysis for the development site assisted in attracting developer interest and assessed the potential for joint-venture partnerships.
As part of the ongoing evolution of Candlestick Point, MXD’s advisory services were used by Lennar Urban in seeking their development approvals and advancing the site from concept planning into marketing implementation and action. This process also involved identifying community benefits to create venues for performance and the arts.
Degree of Success: MXD’s strategic development programming and financial return analysis were used by Lennar Urban in order to attract, negotiate, and establish development partnership deals. This material was conveyed through MXD’s assistance in creating marketing materials, terms of reference for request for development proposals, identification of target end-user and development proponents, evaluation of development proponent proposals, and negotiation of development deals.
MXD’s content was also used for the approvals process with the City of San Francisco for the entitlement of this iconic redevelopment area.
