Project Description
Transforming Downtown Bellevue with a strategic mixed-use development bridging retail, tech innovation, and vibrant urban spaces.
MXD was retained by Rockefeller Group Development Corporation and NBBJ Architecture to perform retail, office and mixed-use market analysis for development of this key component of Downtown Bellevue, to infill the missing link between Bellevue Square Mall, Lincoln Square and the Meydenbauer Place Mixed-Use Retail, Residential and Conference Centre.
The infill development plan for this compact 5.48-acre urban development site on long term leased land involves a total of 1.7 million square feet of space in up to three towers with an engaging ground floor and mezzanine level that involves Food & Beverage experiences, together with Creative Collaborative Co-Working Space for the bourgeoning Tech Sector, anchored by Microsoft and the three plus layers of downstream companies that cluster alongside this anchor tenant.
As the Architects for Amazon’s-Denny Triangle North Lake Union District and REI Sports Authority, MXD worked closely alongside NBBJ to evolve the strategies for Downtown Bellevue on the Rockefeller site.
