MXD Development Strategists shape Belo Horizonte Aerotropolis into a regional hub for economic growth and connectivity.
MXD Development Strategists lead the Market & Economic Analysis & Regional Economic Development Strategy for the Belo Horizonte Aerotropolis Master Plan/Minas Gerais Partnership II SWAP Project (MGP II SWAP), created in association with Engineers CH2MHill. MXD expertise informed multiple aspects of the MGP II SWAP, beginning from a foundation of market and economic analysis to inform an integrated strategy for land use, transportation and economic development. Initial steps for the Master Plan have identified economic direction and strategic infrastructure improvements to leverage the Belo Horizonte Aerotropolis as an economic generator for the region. As a result of the initial assignment a subsequent phase was commissioned for a wider area, leveraging the construction of new transportation infrastructure with niched economic and market opportunities.
