Strategically planning Hawkstone’s growth with a balanced mix of uses and a visionary 20-year development strategy.
MXD conducted a market analysis and development strategy for the Hawkstone neighbourhood on behalf of the City of Regina. The project investigated the appropriate commercial and residential mix at Hawkstone, a future growth neighbourhood in North Regina just off of Hwy 11. Land use demand was calculated over a 20-year time horizon to arrive at an appropriate mix of uses for the subject area. The stakeholder advisory group was comprised of adjacent landowners who may be impacted from future growth within Hawkstone. MXD then worked closely with the City to create a high-level conceptual layout based on infrastructure and servicing capability.
