MXD Development Strategists is serving as real estate and economic strategy subconsultant to Stantec on the Denver International Airport (DEN) Strategic Development Plan Update, supporting the City and County of Denver in updating the long-term development and revenue strategy for DEN’s Districts. Through stakeholder engagement with regional brokers, developers, and hospitality operators, alongside a comprehensive economic and real estate market analysis across industrial, office, retail, and hotel asset classes, MXD identified target economic sectors and catalytic development opportunities for DEN’s Districts, benchmarked against progressive airport developments nationwide. The result is an implementable development programming strategy for DEN’s Districts – identifying priority sectors, catalytic development opportunities, and the infrastructure needed to unlock development, along with phased land use directions to guide DEN’s longterm growth.
