MXD Leads Planning for New Lethbridge South Campus Neighbourhood

MXD is proud to announce our leadership in the development feasibility and land‑use concept planning for a new neighbourhood on the University of Lethbridge South Campus lands in west Lethbridge.

Project Highlights

  • Housing Units: Approximately 1,088 units
  • Future Residents: Around 2,700 people
  • Commercial Space: 10–14 acres for retail, office, and convenience uses
  • Site Area: 100 acres adjacent to the University Community Sports Stadium
  • Total Investment: Over $200 million, generating $2.5 million in annual property taxes and $9.5 million in off‑site levy fees

The neighbourhood is designed as a mixed‑use, sustainable community, balancing residential, commercial, and public spaces. Early site preparation and construction are anticipated to begin in Spring 2026, with full build‑out projected over 15–20 years.
