Driving growth at Denver International Airport through strategic development and global connectivity.
MXD led an international consortium of planners, engineers and designers in the creation of an Airport City Commercial Development Strategy centered around Denver International Airport (DIA). The Plan and Development Strategy identified DIA’s strategic economic niches; land utilization strategies and concepts; optimal areas for future development as well as phasing strategies.
In December of 2014, Panasonic Enterprise Solutions announced plans for a new technology center and business solutions hub at DIA adding more than 330 jobs. DIA beat 21 other cities to win the new facility, in part because of the broader vision established in the Airport City Development Strategy, as well as the importance of DEN’s air route connectivity with Japan.
