MXD has been involved in the Landside Commercial Development Planning and Terminal Retail Strategies for Vancouver International Airport (YVR), to support Non-Aeronautical Revenue growth towards a +60% goal. These strategies have become the prescriptive guidebook for airport staff in implementing the Optimal Tenant Mix, Targeting Specific Market Segments, Introducing new Commercial, Hotel, Niche Office
Segments, Entertainment and Retail Concepts for growing Revenue.
Amongst various projects at YVR, MXD’s work has most recently resulted in the premier entrance of McArthur Glen Designer Outlets into the North American Market with its 2015 grand opening at the Vancouver International Airport, marking a major milestone in YVR Development Strategy.
