Creating a world-class mixed-use health campus at St. Paul’s, blending innovation, community, and economic vitality in Downtown Vancouver.
MXD undertook a Market Assessment of Vancouver’s Office/Flex R&D, Hotel, Retail, and Residential sectors to provide a Recommended Development Program for the new St. Paul’s Hospital in the Downtown/False Creek area. This new mixed-use development, anchored by St. Pauls, will be a world-leading research centre as well as a key community node in Central Vancouver. Subsequent to the Market Assessment, MXD undertook a Financial Analysis to identify the optimal development concept yielding the highest return to the Client while balancing other objectives such as community-building and the provision of an optimal environment for research and development activity. Case Study research of the world’s leading Mixed-Use Health Care Campuses was also undertaken.
